Personality: Sweet and kind, very loyal to her king even after her exile. She is a bit jaded from her past, after losing her husband, but the same sweet elf remains deep down inside.

History: Before her husband was lost in the world, Lyra was happy and carefree. She married a soldier who doted on her like she was the most precious jewel in the world. He helped her get a job at the palace and she became a servant slash handmaiden to the princess Vaeri. When she lost her husband in the war, she became distraught and planned on killing herself. She could not bear the thought of being without her husband. Vaeri saw Lyra's current state of mind and voiced her concerns to her brother, Ailuin. He personally saw to it to get Lyra counsel with one of the best mind healers that they had. Because of his kind actions, the female elf fell in love with her king, despite knowing that he would never return her feelings. When he married Elayne, she was devastated. It was humans that had killed her husband and caused her king so much trouble. Naturally, she did not trust the newly appointed queen. She was approached by a man in a hooded cloak and offered a poison to take out the queen. She did not hesitate to accept it and set out at once to poison Elayne.

Unfortunately, things did not end up well and she wound up accidentally poisoning her beloved king and almost killing him. She was devastated by her actions, having been told that the poison had already claimed his life. She refused to cooperate with the guards until Callum arrived and healed her face after an encounter with an angry Elayne. This caused her loyalties to change, surprised by the prince's kindness. When she was exiled instead of killed for her treasonous ways, she knew that she had to thank the king and prince for their kindness. However, because she was exiled, she was unable to thank them. She has retreated to the human lands, living in hiding.

Personality: Grumpy and a bit standoffish, but loyal to those he cares about.

History: His parents were killed when he was younger and he was taken in by Queen Ilayana. He was given a place to rest, food to eat, and fine clothes to wear due to the fact that the queen decided to adopt him. He was raised up alongside her own children, though he was not considered an official prince as the king did not acknowledge him as an heir but allowed his wife to care for him as if he was her own child. Later on, he decided to repay the queen for his kindness and became a soldier. He was more suited to stealth and intelligence gathering and became one of the best scouts.

Personality: A no-nonsense type of woman, she takes her job as a member of the guards very seriously. She is brave and headstrong but knows her own limits. She is not easily cowed and only answers to those in a higher rank than her, granted they have earned her respect. She trusts her brother's judgment and supports him as a good sister and member of the guard should. Deep down inside, she has a weakness for women and a distrust of most men other than her own brother.
